Fundamentals for Surviving a Nuclear War
As the War against Russia Heats Up, It’s Time to Review Your Nuclear Preparedness
The war in Ukraine has reached its most dangerous point to date. NATO knows Ukraine is collapsing and Russia is prepared to unleash a massive offensive in just weeks. Once the mud dries and the mop up of the current line of combat is completed, the Russian war machine will go on the offensive in what will likely be a multipronged attack against Odessa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkov. If Russia is allowed to take these territories, the war will be effectively over for Ukraine and there is unlikely to be anything that can be done to reverse the reality on the ground. This has created panic amongst policy makers and desperation on the part of the Ukrainians. The result has been Ukraine engaging in ever more dangerous escalatory attacks while NATO is rushing forces to Romania in preparation for directly entering the war. In addition, with the latest terrorist attack in Moscow being blamed by Russia on Ukraine, the US, and the UK, the writing is on the wall. When NATO overtly crosses into Ukraine (they have already been there clandestinely since the start), it will mark a dire point of escalation that will most likely put Russia and NATO on a direct collision course for World War Three. I detailed this in Part 2 of my series on this subject titled, The Day after NATO “Officially” Enters Ukraine: We Are Fast Approaching Uncontrolled Escalation. With this in mind, are you and your family prepared for a nuclear war?
With the probability of WW3 breaking out rapidly rising, we need to step away from our comfortable normalcy bias believing this “will never happen,” and seriously consider the implications of nuclear war. To prepare you for this potential, I’ve pulled together some of the most up-to-date information on preparing for and surviving a nuclear strike. Like with my earlier article in this series on EMPs (See: Setting the Record Straight on EMP and Geomagnetic (Solar) Storms ), this primer is a must read. They will dispel many myths and fallacies as well as provide you real world useful information on preparation and survival. In fact, I recommend you print out both articles and keep them with your response kit and share them with friends and family. The bottom line is if you want to have any real chance of survival, and yes, you can survive, you need good information and you need it right now before things escalate further.
