Flash Alert: Recent Moves by Russia Suggest Preparations for a Nuclear Strike

I know I know…the sky is falling.  I am well aware of Russia’s no first use doctrine and all of the arguments surrounding why Russia “won’t” use nuclear weapons.  However, I have learned to pay closer attention to what a man does than what he says.  I also don’t recommend trusting governments on really anything.  With this perspective, recent Russian movements are combining to paint a very disturbing picture.  Russia is preparing for a nuclear exchange that may be related to an imminent flashpoint this week.  At minimum, I think Russia is signaling to the West to back off, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is listening.  The bottom-line up front is depending on how events this week play out, Russia is prepared to escalate all the way to the use of nuclear weapons if it is provoked.
